The most embarrassing thing ever happened to Chris and I this morning! We have a fancy alarm clock that will set itself when you plug it into the wall. It also takes into account things like day-light savings which is a very nice feature providing your Governor doesn't push it a week back. (You can probably see where this is going.) So, we get up like
any other Sunday morning and get ready to head off to church. According to our
calculations we are running a little late, but still should be on time for Sunday school. We go to a couples Sunday school class and when we arrived there were no seats left next to each other. Still not realizing anything is up, poor Chris says, so do we have to split up this morning, and our Sunday school teacher said, no, were all set here and asked some one to close in prayer. Chris and I looked at each other in horror and confusion. When the prayer ended our very sweet Pastors wife said, daylight savings time isn't until next week, and it was then that we realized what had happened....our "smart" alarm clock set itself ahead THIS week. We pretty much wanted to crawl in a hole at that point. We will be getting a new alarm clock.

Oh no! It's really funny because so many people were missing from the first service (I had a great view from the choir) and lots of people seemed to say they had trouble with their alarms! So don't worry, you guys aren't the only ones! At least you had a good practice run for next week, huh? :)
