The Beating...

So, this is me doing something about the beating I received in the comments section of my most recent post which happens to be a little old... :)

Here's what been going on with the McCahill's in the past month...

Chris has been working a steady 46 hours a week and balancing 16 credit hours worth of classes on top of it. I have been working a steady 60 plus hours with killer paychecks at the end of the week. My weight has not decreased at all, but surprisingly hasn't increased either. We are walking a fine line between busy and normal at work so I will most likely begin attending my weight watcher meetings regularly starting tomorrow. I am looking forward to it and am ready to make more progress on my loss. Although, I have been receiving several comments, mostly at church, about my loss so far and how good I am looking. That has been encouraging through this busy time.

On to the most exciting news in the family...

We have found a house that we will most likely purchase. In the busyness of our month we have found the time to collect some quotes on the repairs that would need to be done on the house to get it to what we would like to live in and with a little negotiating it will be in our price range. So we are pretty excited about that! We will be meeting with the current owner of the home sometime this week and will know by the end of the week. However, in the meantime, we've found some pretty exciting things. The house will need an entire kitchen as the old one was burned in a fire and I found the cutest counter top I have ever seen and pretty cool paint colors to match. Also, we will need all new floor coverings throughout the whole home so we got a quote on that. Right now our local carpet store has REAL hardwood flooring in it for the SAME price as the laminate!! Also, for us to put in our own tiling would be cheaper than having them lay carpet. So we will have REAL hardwood flooring in our kitchen and tile in our bathroom and entryway...I a pretty excited about that. The best part about all of this is Chris and I agree on all the choices made thus far and neither of us have had to make a alternate choice for the other. If you know us well you understand how AMAZING that is. I've been having a lot of fun looking at all the options and designing things with my dad for the kitchen.

That pretty much brings us up to date. Once the house if officially ours you'll being seeing many more posts and pictures, I am sure.
